Our last stop in Greece was Rhodes. I should have opted out of the trip to Lindos and stayed in Rhodes, which I preferred. The climb to the Acropolis of LIndos was too steep for me to attempt. I was horrified at the conditions in which the donkeys were kept. Rhodes is well known for the Colossus of Rhodes and its connection with the Knights of St. John, now the Knight's of Malta. It was an important center for commerce as early as the 3rd century BC. It is a city rich in history and treasures and I didn't have nearly enough time there.
